GCSAA is seeking a hands-on leader to play a vital role in the development and execution of programs such as job readiness training, career content creation, career coaching, mentorship, and job board management; as well as oversee the First Green Program and FFA initiatives. As Director, this position will lead GCSAA’s initiatives to attract, develop, and retain a future-ready workforce for the golf course management industry. This individual will also represent GCSAA through presentations, relationship-building, and outreach efforts that encourage member engagement. Salary range is $92,000 - $97,000/annually. • Associates or Bachelors’ degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in an association or membership-driven organization highly desired
• A minimum of five to seven (5-7) years experience in career consultation and workforce development or similar professional experience required
• In-depth knowledge of career management tools and resources
• In-depth knowledge of leadership assessment tools and instruments
• Experience or knowledge of the golf industry and/or golf course management valued, but not required
• Ability to travel approximately 20%, overnight stays included
• Position will work from our headquarters in Lawrence, KS and reside in the local area
