The Home Care Association of America (HCAOA), representing home-based care providers, is seeking an experienced Membership and Sponsorship Director. This position focuses on member recruitment, retention, and engagement, while also driving revenue through sponsorship sales across HCAOA’s programs. It is a highly strategic role that also requires a detail-oriented approach.
A successful candidate will be innovative, focused, enthusiastic and will have strengths in sales and relationship-building. Having a strong interest in supporting HCAOA’s mission of providing home care to empower all those in need to live their best lives, wherever they call home.

This position is fully remote, and the successful candidate must be able to sustain relationships with other team members virtually. Travel to HCAOA events, certain Board meetings, staff retreats, and some state chapter functions will be necessary.

Necessary skills:
Membership Recruitment
Develop and lead strategies to identify potential members and convert them into members
Create and maintain a pipeline of prospects and track engagement in HCAOA's Association Management System (AMS)
Membership Engagement and Retention
Serve as the primary point of contact for HCAOA’s members while demonstrating excellent customer service
Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing members
Oversee HCAOA’s membership database and track renewals (experience with the MemberClicks AMS platform is preferred but experience with an AMS system is required)
Provide communications when members are up for renewal such as timely messages encouraging them to renew and personalized thank you messages after they renew
Sponsorships
Evolve HCAOA’s existing sponsorship packages and sell them in alignment with HCAOA’s mission and programs
Partner with HCAOA’s team to develop potential sponsorship opportunities for corporate partners
Leverage relationships with members and non-members to identify potential sponsors
Ensure that sponsorship benefits are provided as promised and maintain strong sponsor relations to encourage renewal and growth
Other Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
IT Proficient–AMS, word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, email, email marketing, etc.
Extremely well-organized, goal-oriented with a very high attention to detail.
