We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Assistant to support our team with day-to-day tasks that keep our communications running smoothly. This entry-level role is perfect for someone who enjoys organizing information, managing schedules, and working across different projects. You’ll help track partner deliverables, assist with email and web updates, and gather basic data to support our marketing efforts. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced communications environment.

The Marketing Assistant provides support with day-to-day tasks that keep marketing operations running smoothly. This role supports the team by organizing information, managing schedules, and working across different projects. Duties include tracking partner deliverables, assisting with email and web updates, and gathering basic data to support our marketing efforts.  

Essential Responsibilities: 

Partnership Management 

• Coordinate and manage scheduling of Industry Partner (IP) and Media Partner obligations, including ads, emails, and promotional placements. 

• Maintain an organized inventory of deliverables and deadlines, ensuring all partner commitments are fulfilled accurately and on time. 

• Act as a liaison between partners and internal stakeholders to align deliverables with broader marketing plans. 

Marketing Workflow Support 

• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming marketing requests. 

• Route requests to the appropriate marketing team member and ensure timely follow-up. 

• Track, document, and flag outstanding items; provide reminders and status updates to keep workflows moving smoothly. 

Website & Digital Content Coordination 

• Collaborate with the Marketing team and ASID’s web development partner (Orases) to coordinate updates to ASID.org. 

• Assist in adding new content and events to relevant web pages. 

• Help maintain consistency, accuracy, and timely publication of web content. 

Email & Social Media Coordination 

• Support the creation, scheduling, and approval process for email and social media content including education and research releases, newsletters, partner promotions, and membership updates. 

• Load content into email platform and coordinate scheduling of email and social media with stakeholders. 

• Ensure brand consistency and adherence to timelines. 

Data Collection & Reporting 

• Pull key metrics across digital, social media, email, and website channels. 

• Support the team in maintaining regular performance dashboards and reports.

Education and Experience  

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field  

• Up to 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
