SMACNA is seeking an experienced Executive Director of Meetings and Events to lead the organization in planning and directing all meetings and event functions for the association.  Reporting directly to the CEO, the ideal candidate will lead the department in coordinating meeting specifications with staff, negotiating contracts with hotels and other event vendors for committee meetings, convention, tradeshow, educational conferences, and jointly sponsored conferences with affiliated organizations.   The candidate will work with hotel staff in securing functional space requirements and appropriate audio-visual needs.  Key responsibilities include planning, administering, executing and managing high-touch meetings of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors, incl
