General Description
ASBO International is looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support the successful operation of our marketing and communications strategy. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic team environment, enjoy problem-solving, and handle multiple projects simultaneously. As a key player on our team, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with all aspects of marketing initiatives, providing support wherever needed to ensure the successful execution of the marketing team’s projects and campaigns. This includes coordinating tasks, managing logistics, and contributing to cross-functional projects as directed.
Build and manage email marketing communications using Informz and provide analytics. Use Informz to build and provide analysis for all ASBO surveys.
Maintain ASBO International website, coordinate content updates, and process advertisements. Work with all departments to ensure ASBO International websites are up-to-date, consistent, and functioning correctly. Use Google Analytics to identify trends in traffic and patterns of visitor engagement.
Provide technical support for ASBO International’s online member community, including content/document sharing and pulling analytical reports.
Work with providers to identify and address any technical issues that arise.
Work with the marketing team to create, track, and analyze content for various social media channels, such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn, using Hootsuite.
Plan the marketing messaging and house ads included in ASBO’s daily email briefing, School Business Daily.
Other duties as required.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
One to two years of professional experience in the Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Exceptional project coordination and time management skills with an ability to perform in a deadline-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Superior written and oral communication skills with an ability to maintain a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
A positive and proactive attitude, working well independently and in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience working with iMIS RiSE or similar website content management systems. Understanding of basic HTML coding preferred but not required.
Experience working with Informz or other email marketing software.
Experience working with Google Analytics for web tracking and reporting.
Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field required.
