Job Summary
The Manager of Digital Communications will lead our digital marketing communications for the Government Affairs, Member Experience, and Communications departments. They will create content for various channels such as social media, the organization's website, and the monthly Hot News and weekly Hot Headlines newsletters. This role will be critical in increasing member engagement, promoting innovation within the communications team, and managing the new benchmarking program. Strong organizational and detail-oriented capabilities, initiative, and a growth mindset are essential for the ideal candidate.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Serves as liaison and advisor to plan, execute, and define appropriate digital messaging, audience targeting, distribution, and media mix to drive reach, impressions, engagement, and conversion and provide consistent messaging and brand alignment.
Collaborate with HPBA cross-functional departments to develop campaigns that grow awareness and conversions for membership, events, and programs.
Sets marketing KPIs and provides insights around channel health, reach, and performance.
Oversee the management and continuous improvement of the organization's website, which is a key responsibility to ensure it remains a key resource for members.
Develop calendar and budget around annual campaigns, always-on/evergreen campaigns, and new program opportunities.
Project manage HPBA's new benchmarking program, ensuring it meets members' needs and provides valuable insights.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of direct job experience
5+ years of experience in digital marketing and media planning, creative and content strategy
Proven experience in leading digital strategy and managing multiple digital platforms.
Project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with lead-gen and acquisition marketing, budget planning, media targeting/spend, and implementation
