They are seeking a Manager of Information Technology to plan, coordinate, monitor, and implement complex IT programs to meet organizational goals. This remote opportunity in the Washington, DC metro area requires occasional travel into the Bethesda office with little notice for systems emergencies and operations requirements.

As the IT Manager, you will oversee the technology infrastructure to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands, while ensuring the smooth functioning of all IT systems and technology processes within the association. You will provide a high standard of customer service support while troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, implementing corrective actions or procedures, and/or escalating to other technical resources as appropriate. You will also be responsible for end-user support for hardware and software, as well as training of staff in software functionality and IT services, in collaboration with internal IT staff and AABB’s external Managed Services Provider (MSP). This position reports to the Chief Financial & Information Technology Officer.
Qualified candidates offer:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in information systems, information technology, computer science or related field; or equivalent work experience
2 years of experience in IT support or management role
Knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, & network systems
Familiarity with IT security and data protection
