The role of NATCO’s Membership Specialist is to provide administrative and technical support for maintenance and development of NATCO’s membership. To be successful in this role, you must be a detail-oriented team player with proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, as well as an energetic, self-starter who can quickly adapt and thrive in a multi-tasked environment. This position reports to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities
Maintains the membership database system.
Monitors and tracks all members for new memberships and renewals.
Monitors and tracks all membership sponsorships.
Monitors and tracks all ASTS Dual Memberships and communicates with ASTS to facilitate processing of these memberships.
Issue membership certificates to all new members for anniversary and calendar memberships.
Strategizes on ways to increase membership (numbers and value)
Creates registration events within the database system working with all Program staff.
Communicates with members and non-members through email campaigns, constant contact, and social media.
Creates the digital voting platform and monitors elections.
Creates the invoicing and reporting required in connection with membership
renewals and event registrations.
Communicates with members via email and telephone, responding promptly to all requests.
Supports SAGE Publishing and the PiT Editor with journal memberships and the CE article.
Serves as an administrative assistant to the Executive Director by answering calls and forwarding emails as needed.
Provides support on-site for all NATCO conferences as needed.

Qualifications
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Prior experience working remotely.
Prior experience in a membership role.
Excellent attention to detail.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Experience with various software platforms such as YourMembership or similar membership database, project management tools, Microsoft Office applications, Zoom, website platforms, and social media.
