You will support a new MCI client partner, the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON)*. Position Overview:
In this new position, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing a robust education program by researching, coordinating, and assisting in the marketing of educational programming (seminars, webinars etc.) as well as identifying issues, topics, and presenters relevant to APHON’s members. In addition, the Education Manager will create and curate content across different platforms and for various learning levels and look to repurpose existing materials targeted to specific audiences within the membership.

Bachelor’s Degree
2-3 years of association/non-profit/professional experience
Experience with managing online education a plus
Ability to work independently, self-starter individual
Ability to work well in a team environment is essential.
Ability to travel 2-3 times per year domestically.
Primary Duties:
Primary lead on APHON’s Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certificate program, including content management and updates, course setups, annual provider renewal processes and related technology processes. Liaison to committee and relationship management with instructors and program participants.
Manage online educational programming, including content and faculty management, Learning Management System build, and end-to-end product oversight
Assist in the selecting, securing, and supporting facilitators, speakers, and panelists for online APHON education.
Plans and supports meetings of Education Committees.
Manages logistics of virtual programs (webinars, podcasts, etc.)
Provides onsite support for APHON conferences as assigned.
Serves as site manager and administrator for learning management system.
Manage master calendar of upcoming education programs.
Provide copy, review, and provide edits for online education-related marketing emails
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
2-3 years of association/non-profit/professional experience
Experience with managing online education a plus
Ability to work independently, self-starter individual
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to travel 2-3 times per year domestically.

Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), general computing skills, and the Internet.
Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) and a Virtual Conference platform is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to:
remain standing or sitting in a stationary position for many hours per day onsite
occasionally lift, move or carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
frequently move about inside a facility space.
