The Illinois Podiatric Medical Association (IPMA) has formed a search committee to select a candidate to lead our Association.
Candidates who have the vision, passion and ability to move the IPMA forward are encouraged to apply.
Applicants should be prepared to lead a team of professionals that manage the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association and the Midwest Podiatry Conference (MPC). The MPC is a thirteen state regional educational consortium which hosts one of the premier podiatric medicine and surgery conferences in the country on an annual basis.
It is desirable that interested applicants have familiarity with the profession and a demonstrated ability to create a cohesive team. They should be well versed with the legislative process as it effects the profession and the have a firm grasp of the changing health care environment. Legislative experience and experience with event and conference planning is a desirable trait for qualified applicants.
Applicants must be able to communicate complex issues to members of the profession, educators, and legislators. They must be able to facilitate discussion with members from diverse point of views, and exhibit the highest moral and ethical standards.
The IPMA offers a competitive benefit package including medical, life insurance, long term disability, and a 401K plan.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience within the position’s duties.
