The American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), a nonprofit medical association, seeks a Marketing Project Manager. The Marketing Project Manager will manage the implementation of all membership recruitment and renewal efforts for ARRS as well as the promotion of ARRS member benefits, products and services as well as fundraising efforts for The Roentgen Fund. The successful candidate will be a team player with the ability to multitask and possesses a strong attention to detail.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with creating, editing, and proofreading marketing content for email, direct mail, and website usage.
The ability to learn new marketing software packages quickly and easily. Experience in Higher Logic is preferred.
Database experience, preferably in iMiS.
The ability to understand and monitor budgets and stay within budget.
Possess critical thinking, data analysis, and research skills.
Previous marketing and planning experience including but not limited to print marketing and mail production, vendor management is preferred.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing implementation of recruitment and renewal campaigns, including direct mail and email.
Tracking response rates, expenses, and related budget for recruitment and renewal promotions and campaigns.
Proofreading marketing materials in collaboration with marketing team.
Compiling monthly data reports on membership recruitment, retention, and fundraising.
Oversee strategic and creative marketing and fundraising campaigns.
Create, manage, and maintain written marketing content for both email and print advertisements.
Collaborate with the marketing and communications team on projects relating to membership, enduring products, the ARRS Annual Meeting, and more.
Managing relationships with customers and vendors connected with ARRS marketing and communication efforts.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field along with 3-5 years of related professional experience, preferably in an association setting.
ARRS is headquartered in eastern Loudoun County. ARRS offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, Life, STD and LTD. This position can be full-time remote or hybrid (in the office Tues-Thrs). Some travel is required to represent ARRS at industry events and meetings.
