What you'll do:
Assist with day-to-day execution of committee appointment and volunteering processes with direction from the Manager of Committee and Volunteer Governance.
Serve as a main point of customer service for select special guests of the Annual Meeting and execute special guest logistics (housing, registration, and travel) in partnership with the Meetings Department.
Support the planning and execution of Board-hosted social events during the Annual Meeting, including electronic invitation process and RSVP management, logistical support, and on-site staffing.
Provide assistance to the Executive Department by organizing conference calls and scheduling meetings of staff and volunteer groups, and maintaining the department activity timeline.
Ensure record updates and committee appointments are entered into RSNA’s volunteer database and ensure compliance with all rules/policies for committee members.
Oversee the Members-in-Training annual meeting stipend reimbursement process. Process reimbursement requests, maintain records, and monitor activities against budget for the department.
Provide project and administrative support as needed to the Assistant Director of Executive and Committee Governance.
What you'll need:
Prior Association or Nonprofit experience preferred.
Experience in a position working with committees or volunteers.
Previous experience in event planning strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Highly organized and detailed oriented.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Competency working with Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with databases and/or prior experience working with Association Management Systems (AMS).
General knowledge of Higher Logic, Smartsheet, and invitation platforms (Greenvelope) is a plus.
