This role is responsible for facilitating organization-wide meetings for NCSBN meetings and committee/internal meetings. This position manages NCSBN resource fund and travel program and implements enhancements to NCSBN events. This role also adheres to and supports the values and cultural framework of the Operations division.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitates organization-wide meetings management for NCSBN meetings and committee/internal meetings including budget development and management, development and management of internal and external meetings procedures, negotiating all vendor contracts, and management of onsite execution of NCSBN meetings.
Oversees the travel program, including ensuring member and staff are compliance with NCSBN established travel policies
Provide meeting related reports and evaluations.
Supports and manages the Resource Fund program for NCSBN meetings.
Develops and implements an attendee experience program that improves and enhances the events that NCSBN members and clients attend.
Oversees customer satisfaction program for NCSBN meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (hospitality, marketing, communications or business)
Minimum of 5 years’ meeting planning experience required.
Certification in event planning required.
Strong customer services, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to project a favorable and professional image of NCSBN to members, vendors, staff, and the public.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple meetings simultaneously.
