Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Evaluates existing partnerships and sales efforts to build on what works and change what doesn’t.
Builds and maintains relationships with event vendors.
Negotiate space sales and other related contracts
Collaborates with various levels of colleagues from executives to contractors in order to develop the business objectives, concepts, deliverables and timelines.
Ensures detailed planning and execution of project and evaluates outcomes based on metrics for quality and quantitative measures.
Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for large annual event.
Assist with sponsorship fulfillment programs, to ensure creation, collection, inventory and fulfillment of sponsor benefits.
Contributes to overall team success by identifying problems and proactively seeking out methods to improve self-performance and/or efficiency of an operation or task
Facilitates continuous communication between exhibitors/sponsors, attendees, and contractors to meet the needs of the show and WANADA,
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 3 years related work experience in a similar role – sales, project/event management.
Proven track record in sales, managing personnel and delivering operational success

The Washington Area New Automobile Dealers Association (WANADA) is comprised of corporate members, which, besides new auto dealerships, consists of kindred-line or contractor businesses that service auto dealerships. The WANADA organization consists of a non-profit association, WANADA Business Services Corp., The Automobile Dealer Education Institute (ADEI), WANADA Community Support Foundation, and WANADA Insurance Services. WANADA also produces the Washington Auto Show, held annually at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC
