This is a full time role with a 37.5 hour week.
The role can be offered as a hybrid work schedule (work from home and work from our office in Rosslyn -Arlington), or fully remote. At a minimum, the candidate is expected to be available in person twice a year for a week to participate in conferences hosted by the organization (March/April and September/October).

WBL, a non-profit membership organization for senior-level women health care and life science executives, is seeking an energetic, creative, and self-motivated individual to join our growing team.
WBL's mission is to increase the number of women in health care who serve as members of a board of directors or in the C-suite. To achieve this goal, WBL offers events, programs, membership services, and an active network to those who join the organization.
This exciting new role will be on point for day-to-day project, database, and communication support for our team of six. This individual will be an active participant in membership renewal and recruitment efforts, assist with sponsorship renewal efforts, take a lead role in ensuring a well-kept database and solid processes, and be responsible for registration and communications support related to our 50+ virtual and regional events. The role will work closely with communications, membership, and event staff to ensure success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities include:
Membership and Database
Support members through their online experience, including account/profile management, the application process, renewals, and providing information about member benefits;
Create and develop reliable, creative, and relevant reports related to membership, growth, and the success of various initiatives.
Draft various membership communications and contribute to designing various membership drives, campaigns, or other communication efforts.
Collaborate with sponsors and companies that partner with our organization in order to design benefits that work best for them.
Update and maintain member records in membership database system.
Track and help communicate with volunteer leaders, including board members, committee leaders, and members.
Perform data management related to the contacts and information in WBL’s Salesforce-based CRM.
Events
Provide customer support for members and event registrants, including phone and email inquiries.
Create and prepare the events in the registration system, open registration, and oversee registration while open for various events.
Draft and send pre- and post-event communications, including surveys and follow ups, and help improve strategies behind event-related communications and outreach.
Oversee registration set-up, temporary staff, and on-site needs during large events (2/year).
Accounting and Operations
Assist with monthly reconciliations, and monthly expense and income tracking.
Communicate with customers to send invoices and receipts.
Assist in invoicing, tracking, and acknowledging donations to WBL’s new fundraising Campaign.

Experience working with associations, health care, corporate governance, or women in leadership is preferred.
Experience working with CRM or contact databases strongly preferred (Salesforce).
