The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), a membership association created to advance the art and science of ophthalmic surgery and the knowledge and skills of ophthalmic surgeons, is seeking an extremely well organized, sincere and energetic Administrative Coordinator. 

Primary duties include a variety of complex and routine activities supporting the Executive Director.  In addition, you will have the opportunity to get involved with various tasks and projects within other departments.  This is an excellent professional opportunity for the right person to gain overall knowledge and skills in an association environment.

 Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of administrative support experience
• Experience in marketing or sales a plus
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Good written and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills – authentic, genuine, customer service focus
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
• High proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint a must
• Working within databases. Use of Salesforce a plus.
