AIChE is a professional society of more than 53,000 chemical engineers in 110 countries. Its members work in corporations, universities and government, using their knowledge of chemical processes to develop safe and useful products for the benefit of society. Through its varied programs, AIChE continues to be a focal point for information exchange on the frontiers of chemical engineering research in such areas as energy, sustainability, biological and environmental engineering, nanotechnology, and chemical plant safety and security.
Under direction of Director, Education, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the successful implementation of all AIChE Academy programs, including but not limited to: face-to-face public seminars and in-company trainings, eLearning courses, live webinars and other Academy products (conference presentations, Academy videos, archived webinars and proceedings);
Management of Volunteer-Led Curriculum Teams
Instructor relations (including contracting)
Public seminar scheduling (including venue selection)
New course development/updates/sun setting of existing courses/programs
Webinars (volunteer led and sponsored) processes
Ingestion of conference recordings, external videos and proceedings into Academy
Production of Academy videos
File structure and policies as well as process documentation library and updates
Departmental database oversight
