The Senior Coordinator Membership Recruitment focuses on assisting the Director of Membership Strategy with the management of membership duties, initiatives and special projects.This position will work closely with the Director and DRI leadership to organize and execute ideas and assignments regarding membership recruitment.
The Senior Membership Coordinator is responsible for deadline management and execution of membership initiatives and implementation of strategic initiatives and internal coordination of the department’s activities. The position is also responsible for communicating and corresponding with prospective members, members and volunteers.Additional duties include reviewing membership applications, managing and monitoring recruitment credits for various committees, managing non-member seminar lists, coordinating the lapsed/renewal member campaign and correspondence, updating membership records and data base and other duties as assigned.
The Senior Membership Coordinator works with all internal departments and numerous volunteers, including Officers, Board of Directors and the DRI Membership Committee.Some travel is required.
The successful candidate must possess a college degree, solid skills in Microsoft Office applications particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The position requires strong interpersonal skills in order to deal with a variety of internal and external contacts. In addition, the position requires excellent communication (written & verbal) skills, dependability, and sound judgment. Previous membership experience preferred but not required.
