This position is responsible for providing customer support to address any questions regarding membership and timely accounting for membership including invoices and payment application. The role will serve as primary liaison for over 16 international chapters to coordinate member reporting and create appropriate and timely billing. The role also includes processing of accounts payable, travel expense processing and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations. Special projects as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES SEGMENTED BY TIME SPENT (SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED UPON BUSINESS NEED)
Provides the highest level of customer service, responding to all inquiries and requests, builds valued relationships with members, non-members, leadership and other stakeholders.
Compiles, analyzes and processes membership applications, renewals, payments and coordinates membership renewals.
Serves as primary liaison to international chapters to collect membership rosters, create memberships and all aspects of billing/collection.
Ensure accuracy of information in database.
Provide basic troubleshooting on member website issues.
Accounts Payable (15%)
Timely coding and processing of accounts payable.
Assist in travel report processing and interface to accounting system.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.
Assists all office vendor relationships by ensuring all invoices are received and identifying cost savings.
Oversight of all shipping expenses to include UPS and USPS.
Assists accounting manager and financial analyst on projects as needed.
Office Support (5%)
Coordinates and orders supplies for staff.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
1-2 years customer service experience preferred
1-2 years of experience in association / non-profit management a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong computer knowledge and database experience
Ability to multi-task, execute and manage several projects simultaneously
Strong verbal and written communications skills
