The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), a national trade association representing commercial construction firms, seeks creative and effective Research Analyst to contribute to timely, impactful materials on the economic condition of the construction industry.
Principal Responsibilities: This position will support analysis and advocacy regarding legislation and policies affecting construction; quickly extract data for use in time-sensitive press releases; serve as a resource for AGC staff on presenting data for use in PowerPoints and other materials; and update fact sheets, data, websites, survey write-ups, etc.
Job Requirements: The successful candidate will possess knowledge and experience extracting data from government economic statistical sites; a bachelor’s degree (preferred); excellent oral and written communication skills; and the motivation and ability to respond to multiple issues simultaneously. Strong proficiency in MS Office – specifically Excel and PowerPoint – is a must.
