What This Job is About:
This position works within the Membership and Meetings department and leads the implementation of all meeting logistics for AMCP’s Partnership Forums, and assists with our two Annual Meetings and other events as needed. Post-sale sponsorships, managing contracted space for annual meetings, and development of meeting mobile apps will also require your expertise.
Working closely with the Director of Meetings and Conventions and Assistant Director of National Meeting Sales, this role requires strong project management skills. AMCP is a highly collaborative environment and requires candidates that are able to successfully communicate and work across all levels of the organization while contributing to a culture of trust and mutual respect.

Minimum 8 years of meeting planning and/or project management experience
Significant experience with contracting and managing vendors
Foster and build relationships within all levels of the organization
Experience with department budgeting
Adapt quickly to new information, requirements, and priorities
Have exceptional written and oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience working within health care desired
CMP or CMP-HC highly desired
