Administrative, Clerical, Support, Customer Service and Support

Under the direction of the Coordinator, Credentialing Programs and Operations, the Administrative Assistant, provides day to day clerical duties, administrative support, and providing general operational support as requested. Will be the primary contact for Front Desk coverage for the organization’s main phone and email correspondence. Deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Interact and communicate with individuals at all level of the organization including Diplomates, candidates, staff, committees and Board of Directors in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer, screen and direct telephone calls and emails. Assists with Customer Support issues resolution via e-mail and phone calls.
Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, initiating and preparing memos, and other correspondence, making photocopies, sending faxes, preparing mailings, sorts and distributes mail, filing, and other activities as requested.
Responsible for processing Diplomate verifications including, processing paperwork and payments.
Assists staff with the Annual Registration process by processing payments, responding to inquiries, and maintaining accurate lists of completed/non-completed Annual Registrations
Responds to regularly occurring requests for information.
Routinely order and maintain office supplies, including miscellaneous kitchen provisions.
Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
Serves as a key member of ABOMS team.
1-3 yeast of prior office work, preferably in association/certification management organization
Must be detailed oriented, professional and customer service focused.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Must be flexible, able to change priorities and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
Must be equally effective as a team player or an individual contributor
Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.
Membership and database knowledge.
