The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the oldest national civil engineering society in America, is currently seeking a conference coordinator to provide pre, during, and post conference logistics and support, including registration and vendor management, and oversight of department information systems.
Building registration systems in Personify
Maintaining and updating various databases and websites
Generating and proofing letters, name badges, receipts, invoices & certificates
Staffing the onsite registration desk
Compiling post conference reports and evaluations
Providing customer service and support to conference attendees
Ideal candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field
2-3 years’ experience providing logistics and planning support to meetings and events
The willingness and desire to travel frequently
Excellent accounting, budget, writing, proofreading, and research skills
A thorough command of MS Office
Association and/or volunteer experience a plus
Experience working with Personify, Ektron and Eloqua a plus
