About Apartment Association of Greater Dallas
Founded in 1959, the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas has grown to be the largest apartment association in the country, representing the interests of owners and managers of rental property and their associated vendors. AAGD has over 1700 members that own and/or operate over 543,000 rental units. As a highly regulated industry, we are always concerning ourselves with legislation that occurs on a local, state, and federal level, with the greatest concentration on local activity. AAGD is currently recruiting for a Government Affairs Manager to develop a successful advocacy program; be responsible for establishing and maintaining key contacts in a select number of municipalities within the AAGD service area; monitor key legislative and regulatory trends; and recommend and implement strategies to address such trends on behalf of the association’s membership.
