The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) seeks a positive, detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Associate, Member Education and Peer Corps Service.
The Peer Corps Associate supports an essential function of the Higher Learning Commission by setting peer review teams, managing volunteers and assisting in the planning and implementation of recruitment and training programs for peer reviewers. A successful Peer Corps Associate works collaboratively with HLC’s staff liaisons and other staff members to match volunteer peer reviewers with field assignments; communicates effectively with reviewers throughout the review process; maintains policies and systems, ensuring the accuracy of data in the systems; and collaborates effectively with the Member Education and Peer Corps Service team and other members of the HLC staff, as well as faculty and administrators from member institutions.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree.
A significant portion of the work involves communication with office teams and institutions; hence, excellent communication skills are critical. Candidates must be strong team players, able to work independently and within a larger team equally well. Candidates should be able to be flexible with work assignments and comfortable with small projects and changes in day-to-day work.
