The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) has an immediate opening for an experienced Budget Analyst. The position is responsible for providing budget execution support which includes but is not limited to providing technical assistance in preparing budgets, performing professional and administrative work relating to the preparation, analysis, and monitoring of NDIA budgets. Budget Analyst reviews proposed financial plans for completeness, accuracy, conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives. Work is performed under the general direction of the Finance Department with latitude for independent judgment and action. The Budget Analyst works closely with the Executive Team to prepare and monitor departmental budgets, forecasts, and periodic fiscal reporting. The position requires strong communication, analytic, and writing skills, as well as an ability to effectively work with others across the organization. Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably nonprofit.
