Serves as the primary resource in the development, programming and maintenance of the Association’s AMS (iMIS-20) and related software (Informz, Higher Logic, and Elevate), and provides first-level technology support to CDAA employees using the internal computer network, external websites, the AMS, and related software applications. Using Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and the iMIS Intelligent Query Architect (IQA), this position builds and revises needed reports and queries; provides training to employees and members on iMIS functionality; troubleshoots user issues and coordinates with the third-party iMIS vendor and consultant to resolve system problems. Under supervision of Director of Operations, this position assists in the development of appropriate department workflows and coordinates staff support of members’ and customers’ use of CDAA websites including: database hygiene, adding, merging and deleting user records, resetting user passwords, fostering online engagement, and coordinating the presentation of relevant information to members and customers. The successful candidate will have well-balanced strengths in database/technology maintenance and interpersonal skills for dealing with technical matters with the membership and coworkers.

Advanced knowledge of deployed software applications (iMIS-20, RiSE, Informz, Higher Logic, and WordPress);
Basic knowledge of SQL and SSRS and intermediate knowledge of HTML a plus.
3-5 years employment in a member-based association in a member services or information network position;
Bachelor degree in computer science, management information systems, or general business management or another similar area of study;
Advanced proficiency with Windows based computers and networks;
Proficiency with content management systems and relational databases;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
Fluency in spoken and written English in order to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations and to write technical documents for non-technical readers;
Ability to present information and respond to questions from individuals and/or groups of individuals in semi-public settings;
Ability to solve technical problems independently and efficiently;
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in the English language furnished in written, aural, or graphical form;
Ability to work within a team setting and/or independently as necessary;
Ability and willingness to learn and grasp new technologies; and
Ability to travel overnight, up to a week at a time, up to three times a year.
