The Controller position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for monitoring ISPE’s overall financial performance to include financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable/accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, and various special analyses; influences financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures; monitors & confirms financial condition by leading annual audit process and coordinating information exchange with external auditors; maximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures
Participate in the development of and support the company’s annual budget and operating plans
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances to management
