FMA, the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, Int’l., is searching for a skilled professional to lead our foundation, Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs (NBT). This position will direct, manage, & execute NBT’s day-to-day activities.
Pursue, direct & coordinate solicitation of donations for manufacturing camps & scholarships.
Develop goals and strategies for fundraising campaigns.
Identify potential contributors. Contact or visit potential contributors, foster relationships & persuade to contribute by explaining purpose & benefits of NBT.
Oversee the development & preparation of marketing/communication materials to promote & ensure adherence to NBT’s message & image.
Communicate foundation activities to Boards of Directors, donors & donor prospects.
Oversee the camp grant & scholarship application, awards & distribution processes.
Work with President & CEO on foundation board member recruitment & retention.
Develop, organize, implement & attend appropriate social functions to make contacts that will lead to donations.
A minimum of 5 years of directly applicable work experience.
Demonstrated history of fundraising success and closure of major gifts.
Strong verbal & written communication skills.
Organized with ability to multi-task & manage time effectively.
