The Regional Development Manager will contribute to the creation and implementation of strategy to diversify and strengthen ICF’s presence in the region with a focus on sustainable growth. Working closely with the rest of the ICF regional support and senior leadership teams to support opportunities and increase the visibility of ICF in support of all stakeholders in the North American region.
This position creates and implements strategy to diversify and strengthen ICF’s chapter and regional development and ensure sustainable growth in accordance with the ICF strategic plan. This position will also further develop infrastructure in the global organization through collaboration within the regional support teams. Working closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, volunteers, and other senior staff; this role will identify and cultivate opportunities increasing sustainable growth and communication within the global network. (Position will be located in the Western half of the United States. Remote working will be expected for this position.)
Supports the ICF in maximizing our impact and visibility of ICF in the region. Adapting strategy as necessary in response to internal and external changes in the environment
Maintains accurate chapter records and details of chapter board members and leadership teams including email broadcast lists.
Assists in the development and monitoring of operations budget for the Region.
Regular outreach to chapter leaders in support of new and existing resources
Response to enquiries regarding the formation of new ICF Chapters
Expanded development of relationships with approved coach-training sources as pipelines of membership for the region.
Facilitation of virtual education programs for volunteer leaders.
Collaborates with Chapter leadership to support chapter and regional activities
Provide continuity of service in the environment of evolving volunteer leadership.
Serve as “distribution channel” for global programs and services.
Manages performance to established KPI’s
Supports implementation and enhancement of existing leadership development programs including Global Leaders Forums and Chapter Leadership Mentor program, supporting competency based leader models.
Supports a regional performance management process for all chapters to measure and evaluate progress to goal and drive chapter development.
Provides connection between the regional support staff and regional communities.
