Coordinate and handle a range of admissions issues, admission/readmission, good moral character, counseling and proactive outreach.
Provide high quality customer service to AI Professionals primarily regarding issues above. Maintain knowledge of complex Admissions regulations, policies, procedures, licensure requirements, etc., to intelligently and accurately communicate information to AI Professionals in a clear and concise manner. Work closely, and maintain excellent rapport with Supervisors, department staff and other staff to ensure completion of all tasks in a customer service oriented team environment.
Essential Job Duties:
Monitor Admissions email inbox and respond to correspondence as appropriate.
Admissions and CE ACD line: Serve as a primary phone representative on the Admissions and CE ACD line. Serve as counselor in responding to telephone inquiries from AI Professionals regarding admissions, continuing education and designation requirements.
Good moral character. Review admissions join applications where a good moral character issue may exist, identify and obtain necessary information, coordinate review of issues with legal counsel.
Admissions join applications. Process all new join applications (including AI Group).
Identifying appropriate paths to designation and make recommendations to potential and current AI Professionals.
Practicing Affiliate status. Proactively identify changes in licensure and status that would affect Practicing Affiliates eligibility to become Candidates (national ASC database), and update internal databases as needed. Communicate positively and proactively to AI Professionals affected. Assist with recruiting Practicing Affiliates into the Candidate program.
Admission application (designation requirements). Assist department with initial processing of applications related to experience, demonstration of knowledge, comprehensive examination, advisor requirements, complex admissions applications, etc.
Process college degree requirements and transcripts as needed and confirm receipt and approval.
Proactively identify Candidates close to designation and conduct proactive outreach, encouraging and helping them fulfill final requirements for designation.
Responsible for the filing of all Docuware files related to Admissions.
Open, sort and distribute mail received in the department.
Assist Supervisors by suggesting updates, revisions, and clarifications to procedures, policies and computer programs as needed.
Identify ideas for streamlining all admissions processes and procedures.
Advise AI Professionals of products and services that might be helpful.
Help recruit, retain and encourage al AI Professionals by providing exemplary customer service.
Work cooperatively in a team environment in the course of daily activities.
Coordinate and interact with other departments as needed.
Other duties or projects as assigned by Supervisors.

- Empathy and understanding for members experiencing difficulty in completing designation requirements.
- Ability to analyze business problems and develop effective solutions.
- Adept at using technology and able to suggest technological efficiencies in everyday operations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Multi-lingual desirable.
- Minimum two years office/customer service experience (association experience preferred).
