The Water Environment Federation is seeking an Education and Training Specialist who will provide management of assigned project components/events and provide administrative/program support for education and training programs.
Development and execution of WEF webcast program through speaker management, program development, technical delivery of events and continuing education credit dispersal.
Development and execution of WEF online learning program through creation/delivery of Articulate courses, interaction with appropriate vendors and continuing education credit dispersal.
Development and delivery of WEF OWWL (OnDemand Wastewater Library) program through volunteer author/editor management, product creation and product distribution.
Manages communications with speakers, volunteers, vendors, and other WEF departments, including information exchange with marketing/finance, and maintenance of information on web pages.
Provides backup assistance for Technical Education Program staff and performs other duties as assigned.
2-5 years relevant experience
Excellent and accurate verbal/written communication skills and customer service mentality
Ability to coordinate multiple dynamic projects with minimal feedback and perform well under pressure
Ability to work independently and in tandem with team, troubleshoot problems, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines
Computer savvy with standard Microsoft office experience. Ability to learn and master computer systems and software quickly and easily. Experience with SharePoint, online abstract submittal, Learning Management Systems, Content Management Systems and eLearning development tools preferred.
Proficient in Articulate Storyline. E-learning Instructional Design certification preferred.
Ability to travel up to 10%
This person will work primarily in an office environment using standard office equipment.
