The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), a Washington DC based trade association, is seeking a Director of Education Program and Services who will be responsible for assisting in overall content strategy and education product development. The Director will oversee the daily operations of the distribution and instructor services team, implement policy and procedural changes regarding courses and instructor programs, and manage the overall budget for assigned programs.
Qualified candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Candidates must also be well-organized and detail-oriented. Excellent customer service with the ability to deliver a sometimes difficult message is a major key to the success of this role. Candidates should also have the ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines and should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications with demonstrated experience in Access (or other similar database system).
A minimum of five to eight years of association experience in management of member services and/or certification program administration/development is required. Candidates should also have experience working with volunteer boards/committees and demonstrated success in budget administration. A Bachelor's degree in education, business administration or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
