This position assists the Senior Director in developing, monitoring, and tracking membership recruitment and retention efforts, as well as providing committee administration support. The Coordinator will be the liaison for the Student Chapters worldwide, and manage the International Student Poster Competition.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Work with the Senior Director on marketing initiatives to grow membership, retain existing members, and bring back lapsed members, including but not limited to:
Providing input on a comprehensive marketing plan and managing the calendar of all tactics – print ads, digital ads, social media ads, list rental, email marketing, direct mail marketing, telemarketing, event marketing.
Reviewing and editing copy for direct mail and email marketing campaigns to current, former, and non-members.
Collaborating with the marketing team on website content management for all membership areas of the website; testing digital ads; creating social media recruitment and retention tests (track results, develop new campaigns based upon results).
Trafficking collateral creation for ISPE membership marketing as well as Affiliates/Chapters around the world; tracking and reporting on all campaign results.
Provide administrative support for various Affiliates & Councils to include teleconference organization and setup, face-to-face meeting management, website maintenance, and ongoing support and follow-up on initiatives.
Act as the Student Chapters liaison to have a positive impact on the Student-to-member pipeline. Maintain processes and records in the formation and ongoing maintenance of Student Chapters.
Coordinate the ISPE International Student Poster Competition during Annual Meeting.
Staff ISPE conferences as requested.
Create files, reports, databases as necessary.
Serve on internal staff project teams as requested by the Senior Director.

Education and work experience:
Bachelor degree from an accredited college in marketing, business, communications or similar preferred but not required. We are seeking the best fit for the position, so will consider full-time 2-3 years of experience or part-time experienced professionals seeking a new opportunity.
Customer Service experience with members of an association or professional society or volunteer organization is highly preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing.
Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
Ability to travel.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a professional team but committed to concept of volunteer leadership.
Must be able to maintain a consistently positive outlook towards all members and staff.
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office and CRM/ARM data bases and other software.
Experience with data management required.
Internet research skills.
Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
