Under the direction of the Manager, Corporate Relations, assist the corporate sponsors of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). Serve as the primary liaison to corporate sponsors by ensuring program implementation, and program marketing support. This position plays a key supporting role in the development of future corporate sponsorships by developing educational directives and programs that create benefits for members. Assist with organizational activities and special projects, as directed.
Three to five years professional experience with responsibility for multiple large projects. Association experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with AGD members, suppliers, and staff and present a positive image of AGD through these communications. Maintain a positive outlook and demeanor with the ability to interact with various personalities. Possess exceptional PC skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability and willingness to learn new software and programs as required. Be flexible, creative, adaptable, and able to work on a wide variety of tasks independently and in a team structure, and maintain confidentiality. Deliver the highest level of customer service and customer satisfaction in a timely manner. Possess the ability to meet deadlines, set priorities, and demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail. Possess good organizational skills, excellent analytical and logic skills and excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to work additional hours and travel if necessary.
