The American Urological Association (AUA) is the premier association for the advancement of urologic patient care. We are actively recruiting an experienced Digital Web Content Coordinator.
Develop, implement and oversee short- & long-term content strategies for all AUA websites.
Plan and implement website updates, including new and existing content additions, deletions and modifications as well as approved digital enhancements within a web-based Content Management System (CMS).
Research, organize, write, edit, publish and maintain effective content for AUA websites and communications platforms.
Manage web content and maintain blogs on AUA websites.
Develop and execute Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies tailored to the specific traffic and engagement needs of the AUA.
Provide technical SEO analysis and create recommendations.
Create, administer and maintain webpages.

The successful candidate must have:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Relations or related field required. Experience in medical setting a plus.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in online content management and writing for multiple media platforms.
Strong understanding of working within the Ingeniux CMS.
Basic HTML and XML.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of organizing, writing, editing, and publishing effective web content; information architecture; SEO; web content management; and web analytics.
Ability to think strategically and analytically to create and see strategies through, whether autonomously or in conjunction with others.
Ability to understand an audience and develop relevant voice and message.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, changing priorities and deadline pressures.
Experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Feathr and third-party SEO tools.
