To become the global leader in golf course management, we are recruiting for a seasoned Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will work as a direct partner to the CEO as the number two executive in our organization. The COO candidate must have extensive experience managing a broad and complex array of functions, be ready to serve in a senior leadership capacity and demonstrate a high-level acumen of the golf course industry. Do you have the ability to foster relationships, thrive in a high-energy culture, and strategically facilitate multiple projects to meet the objectives of the association?
A positive attitude, enduring determination and strong desire to serve our 18,000 members will be integral to the success of this position. Cultivating a culture centered on accountability, results and solutions to make it easier to do business with our members. This position is fast-paced and must be extremely comfortable communicating to a wide variety of audiences, including internal stakeholders, allied partners and GCSAA’s board of directors. Be an inspirational leader, focused on creating continuity amongst staff and ability to make decisive business decisions under pressure.
