The American Society of Plastic Surgeons is seeking a Membership Coordinator and Member Services (MSC) Representative to work in our Membership & International Relations department.
Provides project support to department activities and programs including: membership recruitment/retention, member programs and governance; administrative support to Director of Membership and VP and Chief Membership Officer. Supports the functions of the MSC serving as a front line MSC representative responding to member inquiries by phone and email, MSC membership support.registration for ASPS educational programs, purchasing products and services.
Provides general administrative department support; Handles logistical and planning details for assigned International activities.
Provides day to day support to the membership and international relations division responding to designated priorities. Organizes and Maintains division materials.
Manages accreditation and CME compliance tracking of member records. Facilitates communications with members to achieve compliance.
Maintains MOU Roster database, and International Committee and Membership Committee records.
Handles conference call coordination to include doodle polls, confirmations, reminders and distribution of materials.
Facilitates member communications for new member mailings, candidate elevations, dues & ballots. Manages and inventories the critical membership materials.
Member Services Center:
Utilize contact log for all member comments and concerns.
Responds to general inquiries regarding membership status, CME tracking, change of address.
Maintain MSC statistics for calls, emails, contact logs, orders, etc.
Process product orders and meeting registrations from email and phone.
Cover for lunch breaks and time off for receptionist.
Monitor missing, incomplete or erroneous member information.
Handle product returns with fulfillment vendors.
Follow-up on payments for Resident Forum and In-service exam from residency program
3 years of experience in an administrative role
Excellent organizational and communications skills (both verbal and written).
Sharp eye for detail and the ability to work independently while adhering to standard operating procedures.
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Working knowledge of Aptify a plus.
Enjoys working in a high-paced, very productive atmosphere and has the ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work on firm deadlines.
Availability to travel, if needed (1-2 times / year).
Excellent writing, spelling, grammar and proofreading skills.
Ability to work independently as well as interact with a variety of project teams.
