The Senior Vice President of Professional Development & Deputy General Counsel will serve as the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors’ (NVAR), EXPERT on real estate law.
As Deputy General Counsel will provide legal counsel and guidance to the NVAR CEO and Board of Directors to ensure maximum protection of its legal rights and to maintain its operations and corporate governance within the limits prescribed by law.
As Senior Vice President of Professional Development will oversee NVAR’s educational services, including the successful development, quality control, and daily operation of all DPOR-driven Agent and Broker professional development programs including VA, MD, & DC Continuing Education(CE) programs, Pre-Licensing Education, Post Licensing Education, Online Education Programs, Specialty CE Courses, and all NAR Realtor® Designations and Certifications.

Juris Doctor admitted and in good standing with the Virginia, DC and/or Maryland Bar
Must have ten (10) years in the practice of residential real estate law
Must be a current licensed attorney in Virginia, Maryland and/or DC.
Must have ten (10) years of experience working directly with clients, customers, and/or members.
Must be an experienced public speaker/instructor with experience presenting legal materials within a classroom setting.
